"Don Kyoto" is the first feature film to be produced by Voodoo Penguin Films/Chosette Productions.  We are currently raising capital for this production. 

An average twenty something living in Huntington Beach, CA begins thinking he is a samurai after viewing too many classic samurai films.  Armed with only a Civil War family heirloom sword and a strict adherence to the bushido he vows to uphold the ethics and ideals of his lord, whom he finds a long the way.  His quest takes him on hilarious adventures and into the center of the Orange County youth culture. 

This film brings together Asian culture with Hispanic culture and places it in a very American setting.  With comedy stylings similar to "Not Another Teen Movie" and the successful "American Pie" franchise, this modern day re-telling of Cervantes' classic Don Quixote is a comedy hit for everyone.
